Interactive Information

4-Step Timetable Roadmap

Academic Setup: Create Grades, Programs, Classes & Subjects.
Resources & Workload: Register Teachers, Rooms/Labs, and Bell Timings with max daily periods.
Lesson Requirements: Map which teacher instructs which subject in each section.
AI Solver: Click Generate to trigger the mathematical CSP constraint engine.

Result: 100% collision-free timetable ready for faculty review and printing.

AI & CSP Mathematical Engine

UTTMS models timetable creation as a Constraint Satisfaction Problem (CSP):

MRV (Minimum Remaining Values): Assigns hard multi-period lab blocks and scarce rooms first.
Forward Checking: Prunes impossible slots immediately, eliminating backtracking loops.
Degree Heuristic: Solves lessons impacting multiple sections early.

Guaranteed Zero Double-Booking

Fatigue & Workload Balancing

Prevents faculty burnout through algorithmic safeguards:

Daily Period Cap: Teachers are never assigned more than their configured max daily periods.
Continuous Fatigue Cap: Maximum 2 consecutive periods without a break or free slot.
Even Dispersion: Multi-period subjects are distributed across different weekdays rather than crammed into one day.

Institutional Flexibility

Schools (K-12): Grade 1-10 with PST/EST/SST cadre restrictions, homerooms, and bell periods.
HEC Colleges/Universities: Credit hours, semester result transcripts, repeater overlap prevention, and GPA calculation.
Madrassa / Islamic Seminaries: Dars-e-Nizami, Hifz periods, and Jummah break adjustments.

Emergency Substitutions

When faculty take leave:

The system dynamically queries who is free during the specific day and period, matching appropriate subject cadres without disturbing the master timetable.

Mobile & Tablet Touch Gestures

Horizontal Swiping: On phones and tablets, swipe the timetable matrix horizontally to reveal all bell periods.
Bottom Navigation Bar: Use the fixed thumb dock at the bottom of the screen to jump across views.
Tap to Inspect: Tap any timetable cell to see teacher, subject, room, and attendance details.
